Data deletion instructions
Last updated: 4 October 2026
This page explains how to ask Smil3 Concierge to delete personal data we hold about you — including lead form submissions, Meta lead ads, and WhatsApp conversation records. It is intended for Meta App Review and for anyone exercising UK GDPR erasure rights.
1. How to request deletion
Email [email protected] with the subject line Data deletion request.
Please include:
- The full name you used when enquiring (if any).
- The email address and/or WhatsApp / phone number linked to your messages or lead.
- Roughly when you contacted us (month/year is fine).
- Any Meta, Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp identifiers you know of (optional).
We may ask a short follow-up question to confirm we are deleting the right record. Do not include passwords or unnecessary clinical documents in your request.
2. What we delete
When your request is verified, we delete or irreversibly anonymise personal data we control that relates to your enquiry, including where reasonably practicable:
- Lead form and Meta lead-ad fields (name, email, phone/WhatsApp, notes, preferences).
- WhatsApp / messaging conversation content and related conversation metadata we store.
- Internal concierge workflow records tied to that lead or chat thread.
Smil3 is a white-label dental tourism concierge. We are not a clinic and we do not publish clinic names on this site. Deletion covers data held in Smil3 systems; if you later shared details directly with an independent surgical centre, you may also need to contact that centre separately.
3. What we may retain
We may keep limited information where UK law or vital security needs require it — for example records needed to demonstrate we actioned a deletion request, defend a legal claim, or prevent abuse. Where retention is required, we keep the minimum necessary and restrict access.
Aggregated or anonymised analytics that can no longer identify you are not personal data and may remain.
4. Timeframe
We aim to acknowledge requests promptly and complete deletion within 30 days of verifying your identity and the scope of the request. Complex cases (for example data spread across multiple channels) may take longer; if so, we will tell you and keep you updated, consistent with UK GDPR timelines.
5. Meta and WhatsApp channels
If you messaged Smil3 via WhatsApp or submitted a Meta lead form, deleting data from Smil3 removes what we store in our systems. Meta may still hold copies under Meta’s own policies. You can also manage or delete data from your Meta account settings, and you can block or mute the business number in WhatsApp.
6. Other privacy rights
Deletion is one of several rights under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. For access, correction, or other privacy questions, see our Privacy Policy or email [email protected]. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
